Fort Worth Classic

The Challenge: The Fort Worth Classic was an inaugural event at Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth, TX. Combining a timed 1-mile sprint with a traditional 5K, the event needed a brand identity that captured its unique format and Fort Worth’s character. The challenge was to create a design that resonated with runners and locals alike, honoring Fort Worth’s nickname, Panther City, while evoking the speed and tradition of track racing.

Troy Aikman's Highway to Henryetta

Highway to Henryetta branding inspirationThe Challenge: Develop a cohesive and engaging brand identity for Troy Aikman’s inaugural Highway to Henryetta music festival, set to take place in his hometown of Henryetta, Oklahoma. The client provided a moodboard (shown to the right) and suggested incorporating an 8 as a nod to Aikman’s iconic jersey.

Healthy Gnome

The Challenge: The client approached me with a unique idea to combine the professionalism of a health product with the charm of a gnome and shared an inspiration image (shown to the right). They wanted a brand that feels trustworthy, clean and a little magical, with packaging that stands out without feeling silly or unsafe.

Mustang Creek Estates

Mustang Creek EstatesThe Challenge: The existing brand wasn’t resonating with the right audience. Its colors, inspired by the owner’s alma mater, and a chaotic logo (shown to the right) didn’t reflect the calm, dependable image expected of an assisted living facility.

Lucky Dog Saloon

The Challenge: Create a lively and inviting brand for the Lucky Dog Saloon, a soon-to-open corner bar in Uptown Dallas. The client shared some inspiration images (shown below) and envisioned their Australian Shepherd in a tuxedo holding a martini glass. The bar would be in a historic building with vintage-style signage, similar to their nearby Katy Trail Ice House.

Pat & Emmitt Smith Charities

Purrsnickitty Design created branding for the inaugural Emmitt Smith Gran Fondo (ESGF), a premier, multi course cycling event designed for the professional to the weekend rider. Now in its third year Purrsnickitty Design continues to work on all assets of the race including promotional pieces, a digital magazine rider guide, event swag and signage at the event. The race medal, water bottle, trucker hat, decal sticker and event jersey are shown above.

A TEAM 22 logo and rider jersey was also created for Emmitt Smith's personal fundraising team.

25th Anniversary Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl Champions

Hosted by Cowboys legend Troy Aikman, the 25th Anniversary Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl Champions was held of February 25, 2017 at Gilley's Dallas. It was the first ever star-studded reunion of the Dallas Cowboys from the three Super Bowl championships that took place in 1992, 1993 and 1995 and all precedes benefited the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas. Purrsnickitty Design created an event logo, save the date invitation and a formal invite. Event credentials, program and signage, including a Blue Carpet entry step-and-repeat banner was also created.

Klyde Warren Park

Since its inception in 2011, Klyde Warren Park has relied on Purrsnickitty Design to produce consistent, high-quality branding across all materials. My work includes designing ads, signage and collateral such as the annual Talk of the Park newsletter, ensuring the Park’s identity is reflected in every piece.

Run Project: Race Series

The Challenge: Run Project is a premier running series in DFW, bringing together seasoned marathoners, beginners, and a community passionate about staying local and giving back. With events throughout the year, each race needed a distinct identity that reflected its unique theme and celebrated its personality. The challenge was to create the overall company brand when Run Project first launched and to develop unique logos, event branding, and custom shirt designs for each individual race over the years.

Kevin Sullivan Communications is a public relations company that provides message development and strategic communications counsel; media and presentation coaching; and crisis planning and response services. Purrsnickitty Design created a logo, letterhead, business cards, print collateral and also a website.
